Trim Levels
The new Arteon has three trim levels: SE R-Line, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium R-Line. The SEL R-Line and SEL Premium have 20-inch alloy wheels and multi-color adjustable ambient lighting.
Performance
All models of the new Arteon are powered by a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers smooth, responsive shifting.
The vehicle has an electric power-assist speed-sensing steering system. This helps improve fuel efficiency and drivability on all roads near South Bend by providing better control, precision, and smooth handling.
The gas-pressurized shock absorbers in the new Arteon are designed to provide a smooth and comfortable ride. The shocks contain pressurized nitrogen gas, which helps dampen the impact of bumps and other irregularities on the road surface. They also reduce body roll and help maintain the vehicle's balance during cornering. This combination of improved handling and comfort makes for an enjoyable driving experience.
The Brake Actuated Limited Slip Differential allows even power distribution to the wheels. It's an advanced traction control system that applies brake pressure to any wheel that starts to slip or lose traction during acceleration. The system also reduces wheel spin, reducing the risk of skidding when accelerating from a standstill.
